Love is a populated place in La Paz County, Arizona, United States. It is located on Urea Ranch Road, 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Wenden. A mainline of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway (ATSF) runs through Love.
Ernest Love was the town's namesake. Formerly called Lockhart, the railroad station was renamed following World War I to honor Love, who died in France during the war, and whose farther was a longtime ATSF railroad engineer.Ernest A. Love Field in Prescott, Arizona was also named in his honor.
The "Love Derailment" occurred in 1977, when a freight train traveling through the hamlet went off its tracks, causing a tank car transporting butane to explode.
