Los Solidos founded by Connecticut inmate Lawrence Beauvais is a Puerto Rican street gang based in Hartford, Connecticut. The gang, which was established in 1991, is Hartford's largest.
Police estimates of its membership range from five hundred to one thousand.
Following the 1993-1994 feud with the Latin Kings, the leader of the gang, Jorge Rivera, was given 13 concurrent life sentences for four murders, drug trafficking, and other offenses.
