The Longacres Mile Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually in August at Emerald Downs in Auburn, Washington. The race is open to horses three years of age and older and is run on dirt over a distance of one mile (eight furlongs). A Grade III event, it is the showpiece of the Emerald Downs' race meeting.
First run in 1935 at Longacres Racetrack in Renton, after the track's closing in September 1992, for the next three years the race was run at Yakima Meadows. In 1996, it was moved to its present location.
In 2008, Jennifer Whitaker became the first female jockey to win the Longacres Mile.
In 2003, Sky Jack set the record for both the fastest time and widest margin of victory at 1:33.00 and 6 1⁄4 lengths. In 2016, Point Piper set the fastest time yet at 1:32.90.
