Logan Shane Allen (born May 23, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Diego Padres organization.
Allen was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the eighth round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He signed with the Red Sox and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Red Sox and also pitched one game for the Lowell Spinners.
On November 13, 2015, Allen along with Manuel Margot, Javier Guerra and Carlos Asuaje were traded to the San Diego Padres for Craig Kimbrel. He started his Padres career in 2016 with the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
Michel Báez Cruz (born January 21, 1996) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher in the San Diego Padres organization.
Báez played for the Vegueros de Pinar del Río and the Huracanes de Mayabeque of the Cuban National Series in 2014/2015. He signed with the San Diego Padres as an international free agent in December 2016 for $3 million.
Báez made his professional debut in 2017 with the Arizona League Padres and was promoted to the Fort Wayne TinCaps after one start.
