Lockhart is a census-designated place in Orange County, Florida, United States. The population was 13,060 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community is named for David Lockhart (19 March 1864 - 26 August 1923).

At the 2000 census, there were 12,944 people, 4,642 households and 3,305 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,143.6/km² (2,963.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 73.79% White, 16.08% African American, 0.58% Native American, 2.21% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 4.21% from other races, and 3.09% from two or more races.
