Liu Haoran (born October 10, 1997) is a Chinese actor. He is currently studying at the Central Academy of Drama. Liu is known in China as one of the "Four Little Heavenly Kings" along with Leo Wu, Wang Junkai and Wang Yibo.
Liu began his acting career in the romance film Beijing Love Story. His performance garnered him the Best New Actor nomination at the Beijing College Student Film Festival. He was also chosen as the Best New Performer by the 2014 Golden Ticket Cinema Fan Club.
In 2015, Liu joined the cast of the Hunan TV's military variety program Takes a Real Man. He then starred in the comedy film Detective Chinatown, which won him Best Newcomer awards at the 20th Huading Awards and 2016 China Film Index Awards. The film was a box office hit, and won "Special Recommendation and Premiere" at the Venice International Film Festival. In September, Liu starred in his first web drama With You, adapted from the youth novel of the same name written by Ba Yue Chang An. It garnered a total of 2.57 billion views online. In December, Liu won the Most Popular Newcomer award at the iQiyi All-Star Carnival.
In 2016, Liu was cast in the suspense film The Twins, where he will play dual roles as twin brothers, as well as Chen Kaige's ancient fantasy movie The Legend of Demon Cat. In August, he attended the film premiere of The Founding of an Army, the third installment of a trilogy chronicling New China's history. Liu will play Su Yu in the film. In October, he was confirmed as the male lead of Nirvana in Fire 2, the sequel to the highly popular television series Nirvana in Fire.
