Little Sister is a 2016 American dark comedy film written and directed by Zach Clark. The film stars Addison Timlin as a young nun visiting her childhood home after the return of her brother from Iraq. Little Sister premiered at the South by Southwest on March 12, 2016. Film distribution rights were acquired by Forager Films and the movie was theatrically released in a limited release in New York on October 14, 2016, as well as on iTunes and Digital VOD.
Little Sister received positive reviews from film critics. It holds a 95% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 22 reviews, with an average rating of 7.0/10.
The New Yorker film critic Richard Brody named it the best movie of 2016.
