List of universities and colleges in Singapore

This is a list of educational institutions in Singapore.

The publicly-funded educational institutions in Singapore fall under three types: Statutory boards of the Singapore Government are subject to operational regulations set by the government. Autonomous institutions are subject to government oversight but operate as private companies under the Companies Act. Private education institutions (PEIs) are private companies under the Companies Act registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE).

There are six local universities in Singapore.

Polytechnics in Singapore provide three-years diploma courses and accept students based on their GCE O-level, GCE A-level or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) results. Most Polytechnic graduates will continue their Bachelor's Degree education with advanced standing options depending on the universities and courses they applied to with their Diploma.

The two arts institutions in Singapore provide three-years diploma courses as well as degree courses and accept students based on their GCE O-level, GCE A-level or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) results like the Polytechnics. Most NAFA and LASALLE graduates will continue their Bachelor's Degree education with advanced standing options depending on the universities and courses they applied to with their Diploma.

The institutions listed below do not confer any undergraduate or graduate degrees; only the institutions' partner universities are able to confer these degrees.
