The First Lady or First Gentleman of Croatia is an informal title given to the wife or husband of the President of Croatia. However, it is used in that form almost exclusively outside the country itself or by foreign media sources, while the Croatian media and press usually refer to the spouse of the President as either the "wife of the President of the Republic" or the "husband of the President of the Republic", rather than "First Spouse". Therefore the role is not a formal office and the title is not an official one, carrying with it no official duties or a salary. However, the presidential spouse may have a minor role when the president hosts or visits foreign dignitaries. Spouses of Croatian presidents have mainly kept a very low profile and have sometimes continued to pursue their own careers or remain in their workplace while their spouses were in office.

Spouses of Prime Ministers are also sometimes distinguished in the Croatian media and press, but far less frequently than those of Presidents. The title is also purely honorary.
