List of political parties in Rojava

This is a list of political parties in Rojava. The Federation of Northern Syria - Rojava has a political system based on bottom-up direct democracy, as well as a multi-party system, on three levels of government: Self-governing municipalities, self-governing autonomous cantons, and the federation as a whole.

As of September 2016, due to the continuing Syrian Civil War, general elections for political party representation are yet to be held at some levels of government. Currently a federation-wide census to establish the voters' list is underway, and the constitutional committee has set the timetable of a federation-wide general election six months after the final adoption of the constitution in October.
