This is a list of the bird species recorded in Guadeloupe. Guadeloupe is an overseas department of France located in the Leeward Islands, part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean. The avifauna of Guadeloupe include a total of 281 species, of which one is endemic, 13 have been introduced by humans, and 149 are rare or accidental. Two species have been extirpated. Some of the "introduced" sightings appear to be of escaped cage birds rather than of established species.
This list's taxonomic treatment (designation and sequence of orders, families and species) and nomenclature (common and scientific names) follow the conventions of The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World, 2017 version. Unless noted otherwise, the list is that of Bird Checklists of the World as of January 2015. Since that list was created, four additional species have been added through eBird.
