List of ZZZAP! Episodes

This is a list of episodes for the children's television programme Zzzap! Aimed for hearing-impaired children, the show produced ten series that aired on ITV between 8 January 1993 and 21 September 2001.

Series 1 consisted of 10 episodes, which aired between 8 January and 12 March 1993. Series 2 consisted of 10 episodes, which aired between 7 January and 11 March 1994. Series 3 consisted of 10 episodes, which aired between 6 January and 10 March 1995. Series 4 consisted of 10 episodes, which aired between 5 January and 8 March 1996. Series 5 consisted of 16 episodes, which aired between 10 January and 26 April 1997. Series 6 consisted of 13 episodes, which aired between 9 January and 3 April 1998. Series 7 consisted of 16 episodes, which aired between 1 September and 14 December 1998. Series 8 consisted of 13 episodes, which aired between 7 September and 30 November 1999. Series 9 consisted of 13 episodes, which aired between 7 September and 7 December 2000. Series 10 consisted of 15 episodes, which aired between 3 September and 21 September 2001. An 11th series was planned but the series was cancelled before production could begin.

Series 1 introduced all the main characters – Cuthbert Lilly, Smart Arty, The Handymen and Tricky Dicky.

Series 2 saw the departure of Tricky Dicky and the inclusion of a new character – Daisy Dares, played by Deborah McCallum. The episodes were produced in 1993.

Series 8 saw the departure of Smart Arty and the inclusion of a new character – Minnie The Mini Magician, played by Sophie Aldred.

Series 9 saw the departure of Deborah McCallum as Daisy Dares and the arrival of Claire Macaulay taking up the role.

This was the final series of ZZZap! Series 10 saw the departure of the giant comic and CGI graphics replaced it.

Daisy Dares You: Daisy dares the kids to make some beans on toast. Easy right? Eyes in Leaves. Minnie The Mini Magician: Minnie magics up a robot to do her house work. The Handymen: Ring Ping Pong. Question Mark. Cuthbert Lilly: The soothing atmosphere of a music shop is disrupted when Cuthbert pays a visit!
