When travelling, Shin-ah spots an inn with a hotspring an de the rest of the group decide to go. While preparing to bathe, Shin-ah is told by Zeno to take off all of his clothing. Jae-ha immediately takes this as an opportunity to look at Shin-ah's eyes. However, this attempt is unsuccessful and Shin-ah runs into the hotspring with his eyes closed. Later, Jae-ha finds Kija and asks him why he is not bathing. Kija gives him a mixed response and Jae-ha pulls off part of Kija's clothes. He finds a large scar on Kija's back and realizes it must have been made by dragon claws. He then comes to the conclusion that Kija was scarred by the previous White Dragon. Kija eventually agrees to wash himself, and to help cover up his scar, Jae-ha attempts to distract Hak through improvised calisthenics, which involve knife throwing. Kija then shows up with his back completely exposed much to Jae-ha's dismay and tells the group he couldn't bathe since there was a spider on his back. Jae-ha allegedly, painfully, disposes of the spider. Kija soon tells Jae-ha that the scar was from his predessecor, his father. Kija's backstory is then revealed. When he was born, his father attacked him in outrage and was therefore not allowed to be near Kija. When Kija was five years old, he had the notion that his father would die and went to see him without supervision. Kija's father doesn't see him and believes Kija's grandmother has come. He reveals that his dragon claws have now been replaced with a human hand, and dies after realizing Kija had come to see him. Jae-ha is seen thinking about his past. Images of him escaping his village when he was twelve appear, along with his predecessor, Garou. He and Hak then sit down and share a drink.
