List of Parliamentary constituencies in Cheshire

The ceremonial county of Cheshire (which includes the areas of the Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East, Halton and Warrington unitary authorities) is divided into 11 Parliamentary constituencies. The 2 divisions of Warrington are Borough constituencies, with the remaining 9 being County constituencies.

Following their review of parliamentary representation by the Boundary Commission for England, these 11 constituencies were retained with changes to realign constituency boundaries with the boundaries of current local government wards, and to reduce the electoral disparity between constituencies. These changes were implemented at the United Kingdom general election, 2010.

The total number of votes cast for each political party or individual candidate who fielded candidates in constituencies within Cheshire at the 2010 general election was as follows;

Conservative 211,043 (40.7%), Labour 168,072 (32.5%), Liberal Democrat 109,601 (21.2%), UK Independence Party 13,654 (2.6%), Independents 5,632 (1.1%), British National Party 3,669 (0.7%), Green Party 2,787 (0.5%), The Macclesfield Independent 2,590 (0.5%), English Democrats 594 (0.1%), The True English (Poetry) Party 298 (0.1%). Total votes: 517,940
