List of Pakistani dramas

This is a list of Pakistani dramas , television serials that were created in Pakistan.

Pakistani dramas are generally short and usually end after a run of less than one year and are based on Urdu novels, however sometimes the story tends to deviate away from the novel.

The serials have been used repeatedly to transmit socio-cultural messages, by incorporating them into story lines.

Shailja Kejriwal says that in India, Pakistani dramas have a reputation for "being slightly classier than the local fare."
