Jack Nichols (born 1937-2005) journalist, writer, radical activist and co-founder of the Mattachine Society of Washington D.C. with Frank Kameny in 1961. Elijah "Lige" Hayden Clarke (born 1942-1975) journalist, writer, radical activist and world traveler. Clarke was Jack Nichols' lover, on and off, from 1962-1975.

Stephanie Donald (born 1955-) LGBT rights radical gay rights activist, journalist, writer and left-wing political activist.
