This is a list of episodes for Intervention, an American reality television program which aired on the A&E Network since 2005.
Each episode follows one or two participants, each of whom has an addiction or other mentally and/or physically damaging problem and believes that they are being filmed for a documentary on their problem. Their situations are actually being documented in anticipation of an intervention by family and/or friends. Episodes typically feature an epilogue or follow-up months later with an update to the addicted person's progress or state.
As of January 13, 2017 series consisted of a total of 265 episodes and 10 specials. Most episodes are available individually on DVD from A&E's website.
After a promising education and early success, a series of bad business associates led him to seek refuge in the casinos, where he soon became a problem gambler and lost large amounts of money.
Vanessa, who was a recurring character on the long-running medical drama ER, is addicted to shopping. She is heading towards bankruptcy.
Jerrie's family calls interventionist Jeff Van Vonderen to help their 29-year-old daughter, who is addicted to Vicodin. Jerrie is so addicted that she has been forging physician signatures to get the prescriptions that she thinks she needs. She also walks around the waterfront to find drug dealers so she can get high.
Tamela, a 24-year-old artist, cuts herself with razor blades. As a child, she was molested and has a hard time getting over what happened. Her family hopes she will go into treatment.
Epilogue: Jerrie left treatment after three months and moved in with her boyfriend. She says she is sober, but her sister says she is not.
Alissa's parents and friends try to save her from her gambling addiction. She has lost over $30,000 on 25-cent slots. Her boyfriend has three jobs and makes all of the money, while Alissa gambles it away.
Brian has a bad crystal meth habit. He is also a sex addict. Brian roams around the streets to find new partners every night.
Epilogue: Alissa refused to go to treatment. She and her boyfriend later broke up. She married a new man in 2006. She says she continues to gamble, but hardly does it anymore.
