List of Devilman episodes
Devilman (デビルマン Debiruman) was a 39 episode anime series that ran from July 8, 1972 to April 7, 1973 on NET (now TV Asahi).
The series was released on VHS and Laserdisc by Toei Video during the 1980s. The whole series was released by Toei in DVD format two times, the first one as a DVD box in September 21, 2002 and later in two-disc releases through 2004.
The storyline of the series is different from that of the manga and of the OVAs. It does not have an apocalyptic conclusion and the ending is a happy one for Akira and Miki. In the final episode, Devilman's identity as a demon is exposed to Miki, but she accepts that she is in love with Devilman, even if he is not human.
