Linda Thomas-Greenfield (b. 1952, in Baker, Louisiana) is an American diplomat who served as the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs in the United States Department of State's Bureau of African Affairs from 2013 to 2017.
She has also served as Director General of the Foreign Service and Director of Human Resources (2012–2013), Ambassador to Liberia (2008–2012), and Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (2004–2006).
