"Life Goes On" is a song by American glam metal band Poison. It was the fourth single from their 1990 album Flesh & Blood. The song reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Life Goes On" is on the following albums.
CC originally brought the song to Poison, where Rikki and Bobby added their magic to it. The lyrics were written after a girlfriend of CC's was shot and killed in a bar fight in Palm Springs. This is possibly why the solo is so immaculate and emotional. This song is considered a fan favorite due to C.C.'s guitar solo and is about trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel.
