Lieutenant Governor of Montana is an official in the state of Montana that ranks just below the Governor of Montana.
As of January 2017[update], there are seven former U.S. lieutenant governors of Montana who are currently living at this time, the oldest U.S. lieutenant governor of Montana being Ted Schwinden (served 1977–1981, born 1925). The most recent death of a former U.S. lieutenant governor of Montana was that of Tim Babcock (served 1961–1962, born 1919), on April 7, 2015. The most recently serving lieutenant governor to die was Karl Ohs (2001-2005) on November 25, 2007.
