Subclass PJ: Oriental philology and languages is a classification used by the Library of Congress Classification system under Class P -- Language and Literature. This article describes subclass PJ, which covers the Afro-Asiatic languages and their literatures, as well as certain non–Afro-Asiatic Jewish languages like Yiddish.
