Elizabeth "Lib" Peck (born May 1967) is the current leader of Lambeth Council in London. She was elected in 2012 following previous leader Steve Reed was elected in at the Croydon North by-election.

Labour got a large mandate in the 2014 local elections, but some have said that Peck is too close to the property developers currently active in Lambeth, having made her herself available for breakfast planning discussion for £90.

Lib lives within the Thornton Ward area, of which she is a local councillor, with her partner and two daughters.

Cllr Peck studied Modern History and Politics at the University of Manchester, and is a women's and human rights advocate.

Lib was Director at the National Peace Council from 1990, to 1996, and then moved to become Assistant Director of Justice from 1996 to 2003.

Lib was elected as a Labour Councillor for the Thornton Ward of the London Borough of Lambeth in 2001.

In May 2006, Lib was appointed Cabinet Member for Culture and Environment, until April 2008. Peck then became the Cabinet Member for Housing, later re-structured to Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Strategic Housing until elected as Leader of the Council.

As part of the Cabinet Member for Housing Role, Lib overseen the outsourcing of the Housing Services to Lambeth's ALMO, Lambeth Living in 2008 (later brought back into the council on 26 June 2015).

In 2012, she became Leader of the Council, following Steve Reed's election as Member of Parliament.

Peck was appointed executive member for crime and public protection at London Councils in 2014.
