Liam Jacob (born 18 August 1994) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
Jacob played youth football for Liverpool and Manchester United, before signing a one-year contract with Oldham Athletic in June 2012. He was named by the club as a substitute for the first time on 23 November 2012 and made his debut on 27 November as a last minute substitute in a match against Doncaster Rovers after Dean Bouzanis was sent-off.
Jacob was released by the club at the end of the 2012-13 season, after appearing for the reserve team for the majority of the season and only making one substitute appearance for the first-team.
In October 2012 he was called up to the Australia squad for the Asian qualifiers for the under-20 World Cup and travelled to United Arab Emirates for the matches. He played 45 minutes in a friendly warm-up match against South Korea prior to the tournament commencing.
