Coordinates: 41°42′57″N 72°50′12″W / 41.7157°N 72.8368°W / 41.7157; -72.8368 The Lewis Walpole Library in Farmington, Connecticut, possesses important collections of 18th-century English literary manuscripts and books, including the pre-eminent gathering of Horace Walpole's papers and effects from his estate at Strawberry Hill. Its collections include 18th-century British books, manuscripts, prints, drawings and paintings, as well as important examples of the decorative arts. Gathered by Wilmarth Sheldon Lewis and Annie Burr Lewis in historic structures at Farmington and given to Yale University, the Lewis Walpole Library is a department of Yale University Library.
