Leon Isaac Kennedy

Leon Isaac Kennedy is an actor, film producer and playwright. He is also a Christian evangelist. He was once married to actress Jayne Kennedy.

Kennedy married Jayne Harrison, an 18 year old who was from Wickliffe, Ohio around June 1971. In 1979, Kennedy Married former Miss Bahamas Lolita Armbrister in the Bahamas.

In Kennedy's early days he was working as a disc jockey and nightclub promoter. In July 1971, he headed to Los Angeles. He became a DJ on the FM rock station and also worked as a coordinator for a variety show.

In 1972, he had a part in Fred Williamson's action film Hammer. In 1976 he appeared in another Fred Williamson film, Mean Johnny Barrows. Later he appeared in the film Death Force aka Fighting Mad, a 1978 Philippine-US collaboration that starred black action hero James Iglehart.

In 1981, Body and Soul was released. The film which featured Kennedy in the lead role as an up-and-coming boxer was written by him as well. It also starred Jayne Kennedy and Peter Lawford. In 1988 he appeared with Ernest Borgnine, Herbert Lom , Oliver Reed, Robert Vaughn and Arnold Vosloo in Skeleton Coast. In 1991 he appeared in Damages which was an episode of Against the Law playing the part of Spider.
