Legionella micdadei is a Gram-negative bacterium from the genus Legionella which stains acid-fast. It stains weakly, but loses this trait upon being grown in culture. Tatlockia micdadei is an alternative term for L. micdadei, the Pittsburgh pneumonia agent and TATLOCK strain.
