Lega Nord Romagna (English: Romagna Northern League, LNR) is a regionalist political party in Italy active in the Romagna.
The LNR is one of the two "national" (regional) sections of Lega Nord in Emilia-Romagna, the other being Lega Nord Emilia (LNE), and proposes the separation of Romagna from Emilia and, thus, the establishment of the Region of Romagna. For now it has campaigned with some success for the "return" of Romagnol municipalities of northern Marche to Romagna.
Gianluca Pini, who served as national secretary from 1999 to 2015, has represented the party in Parliament since 2006.
In May 2012 Pini was re-elected with the support of 91% of party delegates of the national congress.
In the 2014 regional election the joint list of LNE and LNR obtained its best result ever in a regionwide election (19.4%).
In October 2015 Jacopo Morrone was elected secretary to succeed to Pini, who was later installed as president.
Lega Nord is usually less strong in Romagna than Emilia. However, in the 2014 regional election the party scored quite good results in the three Romagnol provinces: 20.1% in Ravenna, 20.0% in Forlì-Cesena and 17.9% in Rimini.
The combined electoral results of Lega Nord Emilia and Lega Nord Romagna in Emilia-Romagna are shown in the table below.
