Carlton Lee Cooke (born July 12, 1944) is an American politician and businessman. He served as mayor of Austin, Texas from 1988 to 1991. He moved to Austin, Texas in 1970, from service in Vietnam as an air force officer, and was stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base. He is a former employee of Texas Instruments. He served on Austin City Council for two terms, starting in 1977, and was President/CEO of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce from 1983 to 1987.
