The Real Housewives of Dallas (abbreviated RHOD) is an American reality television series that premiered on April 11, 2016, on Bravo. The show was developed as the ninth installment of The Real Housewives franchise. It has aired one season and focuses on the personal and professional lives of several women living in Dallas, Texas. The original lineup consisted of Cary Deuber, Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken, Brandi Redmond and Tiffany Hendra. The current lineup consists of Deuber, Hollman, Locken, Redmond, D'Andra Simmons and Kameron Westcott. Of the original housewives, Hendra departed after the first season concluded. Hendra was replaced by Simmons and Westcott in the second season.

The show follows the lives of several women living in Dallas. "The Real Housewives of Dallas, it's a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that 'y'all' will enjoy," said Andy Cohen, the network producer who has been affiliated with The Real Housewives franchise since its inception. The reality series based in Dallas is the ninth installment of the franchise, following The Real Housewives of Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, D.C., Beverly Hills, Miami and Potomac.

"The Real Housewives has become a global phenomenon that drives cultural conversation while consistently breaking ratings records,” said Shari Levine, who is the executive vice president of the network. "We're happy to extend the franchise with Potomac and Dallas giving Bravo fans more of what they desire: stories of dynamic women who make us laugh, cry, cheer and experience unforgettable moments we can't stop talking about," she also added following the series announcement.
