Leading sire in Great Britain & Ireland

The title of champion, or leading, sire of racehorses in Great Britain and Ireland is awarded to the stallion whose offspring have won the most prize money during the flat racing season. The current champion is Galileo, who won his eighth title in 2016, when his progeny won 143 races and £10,489,764 in prize money.
