Lauren Brown is an American percussionist, known for her skill as a "tap dancing drummer", and the invention of that specific style of percussion.
Brown first learned to dance at a young age; she knows modern, tap, jazz and ballet dance styles.
Brown is best known for her work with the band, He's My Brother She's My Sister.
To create her rhythm, Brown uses her feet as a replacement for the hi-hat, while simultaneously playing the snare drum, tom drum and bass drum with her arms. The Huffington Post wrote that "Lauren Brown's bouncy moves atop a big bass drum [...] will certainly get your attention."
She has performed extensively throughout the US, including famed music festivals as Bonnaroo, Summerfest, Firefly and Austin City Limits.
Brown also performed on The Craig Ferguson Show, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, in 2013.
Brown is currently a member of the group, KOLARS, which she co-founded in 2016 with fellow He's My Brother She's My Sister member, Rob Kolar.
KOLARS released their music video, Beyond The World Of Man, in March of 2016.
