The Latvian Hockey Higher League (Latvian: Latvijas Virslīgas hokeja čempionāts), now called Optibet Hockey League due to sponsorship by Optibet, is the top tier league of ice hockey in Latvia currently comprising six teams. Previously it was also known as Latvian Open Hockey Championships (Latvijas atklātais čempionāts hokejā) and Samsung Premier League (2006–2008) for sponsorship reasons with Samsung.
