Laati is a 1992 Telugu-language Indian feature film directed by Gunasekhar, starring Prashanth and Raghuvaran in lead roles.
Ramu is a young boy played by Prashanth who dreams of becoming a cop. He eventually joins a police training college and gets posted as a Police Constable in an area where Don Dawood (Raghuvaran) rules over the area. Ramu wins over Don Dawood, encountering ordeals. He falls in love with Sangeetha (played by debutant Samyuktha).
Latti was dubbed in Hindi as SUNDARA KANDA, in Tamil as DAWOOD IBRAHIM, in Malayalam as VAANAME ELLAI and in Kannada as SOORYA MANASAM.
The soundtrack was released by Sterling Music Cassettes.
