Larry Brody (born 1944 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American television writer.

At Northwestern University, Larry Brody majored in English and wrote dozens of short stories, poetry and essays. Once in Los Angeles, Brody wrote scripts for cop shows. He worked on Ironside, Hawaii Five-O, and became executive story consultant for The Streets of San Francisco and Police Story. Since then, he has written for dozens of television series, including The New Land.

Brody has also written for animated programs including Star Trek: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series and was the creator of the 1998 Silver Surfer TV program.

In the summer of 2002 Brody moved to St. Joe, Arkansas, to establish the Cloud Creek Institute for the Arts. Brody also maintains the TVWriter.com website.
