Kurt Ignacio Honold Morales (born 1960) was the substitute municipal president of the Tijuana municipality since February 20, 2007 to November 30, 2007, after Jorge Hank left office to pursue the post of governor of Baja California. Honold, a 47-year-oldpublic accountant is also the president of the Committee in Support of the Fire Department and previously held an unpaid position relieving the president of his duties in his absence. Since 2000 Honold is a United States naturalized citizen
Born in Mexico, Honold acquired US citizenship in 2000. He is married to María Elena Bórquez, and they have two children, Carolina and Kurt Honold Bórquez.
