Kristen Kelly is an American country music singer from Lorena, Texas. She is signed to Arista Nashville and has released her debut single, "Ex-Old Man". The song is the first from her forthcoming debut album, produced by Tony Brown and Paul Overstreet. Country Universe gave the song a B+, praising the sound as "back-to-basics". It debuted at number 60 on the Hot Country Songs chart dated May 12, 2012.
Kelly has also joined Brad Paisley's 2012 Virtual Reality World Tour.
There has been controversy over her debut single using a riff without permission from New Zealand band OMC's single "How Bizarre", which reached number one in the US in 1997.
