Yadavas are originally from North India they are migrated to tamilnadu. yadavas are specified as land owning castes ex: Aay Kingdom

Konar is an ethnic group from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. They are the various subsets of the Yadava community. The Tamil word Kon can mean king as well as herdsmen. They are distributed throughout the state of Tamil Nadu, where they are one of the ancient Tamil castes. The Konar are also called Ayar and Idaiyar. In the early Sangam literature, the Ayars are described as having occupied the mullai or 'forest region'. The word Ayar is derived from the Tamil word "Aa" meaning 'cow

There are two castes which celebrates the birth of Lord krishna. They are yadavas and  Brahmin

Krishna Jayanthi was mostly celebrated by the yadavas in South side of tamilnadu. In every yadava people's villages there must be a temple of krishna. They are descended from the rulers of Ay Kingdom in a Sangam literature. They are mostly land owning castes and uses cattles for their own.
