Koivusaari (Finnish) or Björkholmen (Swedish) is an underground (under the seabed) station under construction on the western metro extension (Länsimetro) of the Helsinki Metro. Koivusaari is the only underground station in the world that is not under ground, but instead under sea. It has 76 meters long escalators and the elevators are tilted 45 degrees. It will be the westernmost metro station in Helsinki, going west to Keilaniemi metro station will cross the border to Espoo.
