Kochu Preman is a Malayalam film actor. Kochu Preman's recordical name is K.S. Premkumar. He has acted in more than 100 films, mainly in comedy roles.
Kochupreman born Premkumar was born on 1 June 1955 to Kalaramathil Shivaraman Shasthri and Kamalam at Peyad Thiruvananthapuram. He has six siblings. He had his primary education from Government school, Peyad. He has completed his education in M.G. College, Thiruvananthapuram. For 18 years first he was there in a drama troup named Kalidasa Kala Kendram and later in Kerala Theaters and Sanghachethana. In 1996 he debuted in the film named 'Dilliwala Rajakumaran'.
He is married to cine-serial actress Girija Preman on 1984. They have a son Hari Krishnan P G.
