Kiserian dam is a water catchment project by the government of Kenya located in Kiserian Town, Keekonyokie Ward. The dam construction started in 2008 and ended 2013.The dam has a height of 18 metres and a capacity of 1.8 million litres. This project was set up in order to overcome water challenges in Kajiado county and parts of Nairobi county. The dam has a daily supply capacity of 15,700 cubic metres and is currently supplying domestic water in constituencies in Kajiado north and kajiado west. It's under maintenance of Oloolaiser water company who are also in charge of water and sewage treatment and supply. The dam has a water treatment storage of 5000 m³ and serves 253,000 residents.
