Kim Jung-mo (born March 26, 1985), better known by the mononym Jungmo or X-mas, is a South Korean guitarist, songwriter and record producer. He debuted in 2004 as a member of South Korean rock band TRAX and has further participated in its project group with Super Junior's Heechul, M&D.
Jungmo was debuted as a member of TRAX under stage name X-Mas on July 20, 2004 with releasing their debut single Paradox.
TRAX released extended play titled Cold-Hearted Man on January 25, 2010. Jungmo with member Jay was contributed to written and composed all track from the albums.
He enlisted enlisted for two years of mandatory military service, on 25 October 2012. They were originally schedule to enlist together, but Jung-mo's scoliosis condition and a fractured collarbone delayed his enlistment. He served non-active duty as a public service worker for 23 months after completing four weeks of basic training. Due to the bandmembers' enlistment in the military, TRAX went on an indefinite hiatus.
In July 2015, TRAX performed together again at the SM Town Live World Tour IV in Japan, and at the SM Town Live World Tour V in 2016.
In 2011, X-Mas joined his label mate Heechul to form the project group M&D. M&D's first title track "뭘봐 (Close Ur Mouth/What Are You Looking At?)" was released on June 22.
In April 2015, SM Entertainment announced that M&D would release their first mini-album "Cottage Industry" with the title track "I Wish" digitally on April 16 and physically on April 20. The title track was also written and composed by the duo. They made their comeback stage on M Countdown on April 16.
In early July 2016, M&D returned as Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo, with a 2nd mini-album Goody Bag, and trot-rock title track "Ulsanbawi" on July 12. They also released a music video starring DIA's Chaeyeon.
