Kilimanjaro Live is a live event promotions company specialising in music concerts, based in the United Kingdom. They are one of the largest event promoters in the UK. They own or operate Sonisphere Festival, and Warped Tour (Europe only). The company was founded by music promoter Stuart Galbraith in 2008 as a joint venture with AEG Live. In 2012 the organisation was restructured leaving Galbraith as sole owner of Kilimanjaro Live. Previously Galbraith worked as Managing Director of Live Nation and was responsible for the creation of Download Festival, Wireless Festival, Hyde Park Calling and the Live8 Concert.
Sonisphere is a rock/metal touring festival taking place across Europe between June and August. The festival was created in 2009 by Kilimanjaro Live and John Jackson. It is jointly promoted by Kilimanjaro Live and K2. The festival has hosted heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Alice Cooper and Megadeth. On 29 March 2012 the UK leg of the festival was cancelled. Sonisphere continues to run in Italy, France and Spain yearly.
Wakestock is Europe's largest wakeboard music festival, combining the cultures of music and wakeboarding. It is held on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales, in between Pwllheli and Llanbedrog. The festival prides itself as being at the foot of the Snowdonia Mountains and looks out over Cardigan Bay. Previous headline music acts have included Ellie Goulding, Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal, Ed Sheeran, Bastille, The 1975, Example and James.
