Kentucky Route 409 (KY 409) is a 7.499-mile-long (12.068 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The highway connects mostly rural areas of Elliott County with Stephens.
KY 49 begins at an intersection with KY 7 south-southwest of Bruin, in the northeastern part of Elliott County. It travels to the south-southeast and crosses over Fraley Branch. It passes Gray Cemetery and begins paralleling Bruin Creek. The highway curves to the south-southwest and then to the east-northeast. It begins paralleling Ison Creek. It crosses over Johnson Creek and curves to the east-southeast. It crosses over Squirrel Run Hollow and enters Stephens, where it meets its eastern terminus, an intersection with KY 486.
