Kenneth "Ken" David Bowman (6 March 1937 — 10 October 2013) birth registered in Great Ouseburn, Harrogate, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Fishergate Primary School[1], Heworth A.R.L.F.C.[2][3], Huddersfield, and Bradford Northern, as a Wing, or Second-row, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums, he died from cancer in The Wirrall.

Ken Bowman won caps for Great Britain while at Huddersfield in 1962 against France, and in 1963 against France, and Australia.

Ken Bowman played Right-Second-row, i.e. number 12, in Huddersfield's 6-12 defeat by Wakefield Trinity in the 1962 Challenge Cup Final during the 1961–62 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 12 May 1962, in front of a crowd of 81,263.
