The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District (KPBSD) serves 21 communities and 9,000 students in the Kenai Peninsula Borough. Headquartered in the Borough seat of Soldotna, KPBSD is the largest employer on the Kenai Peninsula, providing $4.9 million in gross payroll each month. The current Superintendent of Schools is Sean Dusek.
