Karutha Rathrikal (Dark Nights) is a 1967 Indian Malayalam-language science fiction film. An adaptation of the novel Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson, it was the first science fiction film in the history of Malayalam cinema.
The film is about a doctor, played by Madhu, who takes revenge of his uncles' death by the use of a new medicine he invented. The medicine creates split personality which turns him into a monster when angry.
The music was composed by MS Baburaj and lyrics was written by ONV Kurup.
