Karl Ravech (/ˈrævɪtʃ/; born January 19, 1965) is an American journalist who works as the primary Baseball Tonight host for ESPN.
Ravech was born in Needham, Massachusetts. He attended and graduated from Needham High School. A graduate of Ithaca College in 1987, he has been affiliated with local stations WHTM in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and WBNG in Binghamton, New York. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Ithaca College in 1987. He also received a Master's Degree in Management and Leadership from Binghamton University in 1990.
Ravech has worked for ESPN since 1993. He appears primarily on SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight. He has provided Play-By-Play commentary for the Little League World Series and Major League Baseball as of 2013.
He also appears as the Baseball Tonight host in the 2K Sports video game, Major League Baseball 2K5.
