KUER-FM is a public radio station licensed to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Broadcasting at 90.1 MHz FM, KUER (Utah Education Radio) is a National Public Radio (NPR)-member station, also airing shows distributed by Public Radio International and American Public Media. The station produces the award-winning RadioWest, a local discussion forum hosted by Doug Fabrizio. In addition, the station carries most of the regular NPR fare, such as All Things Considered, Fresh Air, Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! and Morning Edition, as well as local news. Most of the station's syndicated fare, including This American Life, On the Media, and A Prairie Home Companion, is heard on weekends. Its studios are located in the Eccles Broadcast Center on the U of U campus, while its transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak, after relocating from Mount Vision in the Oquirrh Mountains in 2011.
With the advent of digital FM radio, KUER has broadened its offerings. KUER-HD2 airs BBC News. KUER-HD3 broadcasts classical music from American Public Media's Classical 24.
