K. S. Thangasamy (born 14 July 1973) is an Indian film director, producer and actor, primarily working in Tamil cinema. In a career spanning around 10 years, he has directed Two Films in Tamil cinema.
KS Thangasamy did schooling in his native place Tuticorin.
KS Thangasamy entered cinema with dreams of making it as an actor. In 2000, he joined as an assistant director under R.K. Kalaimani for Sooper Kudumpam (2001). After that he worked as an assistant director in Inru (2003) under director Naveen S.Muthuraman. Then after five years again he works as an assistant director in Pidichirukku (2008) under director Kanagu. And finally he worked in Margali pathinaru as a assistant director under KS Steephan. In 2013, he made his directional debut through Raattinam. The film was produced by Escape Artist Motion Pictures S.Madhan. It was featuring Laguparan and Swathi . His second directorial film is Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai(2015) which has an ensemble cast; Sathya and Srimugi.
